Our Story

Mike and Jen Alexander started StandOut! Promotion, formally Coeur Apparel Inc. in 2008. They built a small shop in their backyard, invested in a 16 color embroidery machine, and a direct to garment printer. StandOut! Promotion quickly expanded, adding screen printing. The company moved from Post Falls to Hayden in 2011 and doubled embroidery production by adding two more 16 color-embroidery machines, totaling 4 machines. In December 2013, the name was changed from Coeur Apparel Inc. to StandOut! Promotion.

Our expanded services now include banners, signs, stickers, vehicle graphics, paper products, and graphic design. Since 2013 our production has again doubled and our thankful for everyone of our customers. StandOut! Promotion is a family owned and operated business, with our greatest resource being great employees. Encouraging and building people up has always been at the forefront of why we do business. Plus, helping businesses succeed is what keeps us going.

Jen has been with StandOut! since the very beginning! Jen and Mike birthed the idea of StandOut! on a road trip from Montana! Jen’s favorite parts of StandOut! is being apart of super cool stuff being produced, watching the business grow, being creative, and the people! In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her family, playing outside, and traveling! Jen’s best piece of wisdom related to her job is to keep things simple, life is a marathon not a sprint! Love is in the details. TRUST GOD.

Mike has been with StandOut! since the beginning! Mike’s favorite part of StandOut! Is the people he gets to work with (especially his wife), and the community of people that he gets to meet! In his free time he enjoys hanging out with his family outside, enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest! Mike’s best piece of wisdom related to his job is that we live in a rapidly changing world, so we have to be able to adapt and change with it!

In her free time she likes spending time with her husband and adorable kitty! Along with learning new recipes to cook, and going on outdoor adventures. Annelise’s best piece of wisdom related to her job would be to treat everyday as a learning opportunity!

As a designer you get a lot of feed back, whether it is positive or negative you have to take it all with a grain of salt and not let it get to you!
